> jacket that can be slipped over a PFD if the weather goes bad. I've had mine now for what I believe 2 years. It has replaced my plethora of paddling over garments, rain coats and camp wet gear. If there is even the hint of rain in the forecast in the summer it goes in the day hatch and has kept me company on more than one bailout as short storms blew through. In the winter, I find it is the prefect companion garb to go over my dry suit when stopping for lunch to reduce the 'chill' I often feel when I stop paddling. It is easy to put on and take off on the water. The one negative I've found is there is some Velcro around the neck that can be scratchy on the neck, especially when the jacket isn't pulled closed all the way. You can cover the hook side with a piece of loop Velcro to eliminate this problem though.
