Last winter or fall, the ability of the public to call up NOAA charts on the NOAA website was terminated, as were satellite views of places looked up on Map-Quest. Does anyone know of any sites where NOAA charts can still be viewed on-line? I haven't "played" around with it much, but I have used www.maptech.com to view maps and charts online occasionally. Would be interested in other sources too. One nice thing with Maptech is that you can save maps to their server for later recall. I've done that and put links to them on my website for use by people who want to see an area I've referred to regarding the Lake Michigan Water Trail I'm working on. Just need to find more time to do more of that.
