The folks at Sea Kayak Georgia (Dale Williams, and others) are great. Very accomadating. A group of use stayed at a multi level beach front hotel "Ocean..something..." This was a few mile past Sea Kayak Georgia, but not too expensive. Nice short walk to bars (Doc's is a dive not to be missed). Kept the boats on the beach, a short hike to the hotel parking lot... Able to paddle North (10 nM) across the mouth of the Savanah River to Hilton Head (found some great rip currents there), or a very short trip 2nM to the "triangle" which can get very dicey when the winds are favorable.
