Tom, until we know something about the plastic, it is a little tough to tell 
which adhesive will work, although nine chances out of ten, if you roughen 
the surfaces adjacent to the crack, out half an inch or so, with 80-grit 
sandpaper, Aquaseal will take care of it.  Do one side, wait a day, and then 
do the other side.  A wipe with rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth to clean the 
surface half an hour before applying the Aquaseal is a good idea, too.
