Bob Carter said: So any one else with big dreams for '07? My dreams are the same this year as always - as much paddling as possible with as little drama as possible. I'll be leading trips for the teen counseling program I volunteer with to the Everglades for Spring Break (at least that's the plan right now) and to Maine in August. Also leading a trip for Geneva Kayak to Isle Royale in July. And organizing a personal trip with comptent paddlers who need no leading to Saguenay-St. Lawrence in Quebec during Ramadan. (That one is scheduled for a friend who is working and living in Dubai and can only take a long holiday during Ramadan.) Also planning my usual monthly trips on the Mississippi. Although next weekend's trip will likely be a snowshoe trip, since everything in northern Illinois is frozen solid. One of the good things about my plans is that somebody else pays for all big the trips except the Quebec one. Thanks for asking, Bob. I'm feeling the glow just writing about the trips. Anticipation is big part of the fun, isn't it?
