My Icom M1V here in Vancouver apartment could only pick 3 Canadian weather channels, this one has USCG channel 4 sometimes clearer than our CCG :-), though urban interference noises seem to be louder too. More sensitive circuit, probably. And only now I've noticed that Icom M72 is much more powerful Tx than other handheld VHF - 6 watts.
