I need some comments from all you experts. When we talk about marine radios, we talk about standard VHF hand-held radios. We like them to be waterproof and prefer to have them live in a pocket on the life jacket. The ACA talks about having paddlers use VHS radios. Is this real, a typo, a failure to understand? What goes on here? I am told there really are VHS radios--are they waterproof--what are they compared with our VHF radios?
