Although I've not really studied the posts on the topic - and am not a racer - I learned today (somewhat tangentially) that Canoe and Kayak Racing Magazine has published articles about instrumented paddles: - the mar-apr_2010 issue has a review of Talon's Excalibur paddle - the july-aug_2010 issue has an article about interpreting data from the paddle This is an online magazine - googling should turn up the links to the issues.
