Subject: Veracruz fiberglass Sea Kayak for sale $1400 OBO

Anita is selling her Veracruz sea kayak.  It is a fiberglass Greenland style
kayak that is long (17'-3") and narrow (21"), 55#, with slight rocker, hard
chines, and rounded bow and stern at water entrance and exit. The bow and
stern have an efficient low drag, and the stern to center has a flat bottom
for stability. It is fast, with very good secondary stability. It is very easy
to turn by leaning and very easy to roll with its low back coaming. The front,
back, and day hatch are dry with easy to remove fiberglass hatch covers. The
hull is designed for minimal weathercocking that is easily corrected by edging
or using a skeg that will neutralize any wind turning effect. This is a
Touring kayak ready for multiday trips and suitable for bad weather.Pictures

As you can see it is like new.  You could say this kayak was owned by a little
old silver haired lady that only used it about 10 times and never paddled over
3 mph (she is actually more into whitewater paddling).  For info, contact
