Has anyone been kayaking on Mono Lake? I am going to Yosemite and I just got the bright idea of bringing the baidarkas and visiting Mono Lake also. I have never been and I am thinking about taking my 10 year old daughter to check it out. We are leaving today, any info. would be most greatly appreciated. I am also concerned about leaving them unattended while hiking for hours while hiking since they are hand made and unreplaceable.
