You have to put these things in perspective. We had an incident in Alabama earlier this year where a couple of swimmers were attacked by a shark. Both survived the attack, but one unfortunately lost his arm. This was only the second recorded shark attack in Alabama since 1900 and there have been no fatalities. To put this in perspective, the same weekend the two swimmers were attacked 7 people drowned in various boating and swimming accidents.
