Have used a Kelty Noah's Tarp 12 for less than a year, sometimes in the rain. Kept me dry as recently as last September. But, last weekend it failed completely. Leaked slowly almost uniformly over the entire surface of the tarp! I've owned a dozen or so tents and tarps, and never seen a failure like this. FWIW, it is a coated polyester, not a coated nylon, and it has been carefully handled and stored: never stored for a long period wet, never exposed to solvents or excessive heat or sunlight. I'm mystified. It's going back to Kelty tomorrow, but I'm curious: Anybody else had this experience with a Noah's tarp?
