I have one of the dual temperature bags with one side thinner than the other.
Depending on the temps you sleep with the thick side up or thinner side up. I believe
it is temp rated to 50/40 or somewhere in that range. It has been a great summer/ Fall
bag but I have not tested it lower than mid 40s. As posted previously a fleece liner
would easily decrease the temperature rating down into the 30s. I also recommend a
sleeping pad to get you off the ground- that makes any bag warmer (and more
comfortable). My bag was purchased through Campmor. It packs well/drys fast and
is filled with polarguard type material.

I have a Therm-a-Rest sleeping pad that I like a whole lot. BUT-- I made the mistake of buying a 3/4 length model to save a few grams of weight. Hence my feet, ankles, and calves hang of the edge and get cold. I know it's not supposed to get cold during the summer, but last year while camping in Michigan (I think it was June or July) the temperature plummeted to +34F at night.

I would suggest stowing empty bags, if the outside is dry, under your
tail end. If you can make a neat pile that doesn't shift around too
much and isn't too lumpy, you'll be warmer. People often have the pad
under their head; it is better to make a pillow with a stuff sack or
fleece jacket, and leave the top of the pad for your shoulders.

I have a Therm-a-Rest that I purchased in 1980 and it is still going
strong. I just replaced the old valve a couple of months ago and it now
fills up faster. It is a bit slow, age I guess (like me).

If you are looking at new ones check out the Guide Lite. Packs small, full
length and is thick enough to be really comfortable.

Good Sleeping!

If space permits I bring along a Crazy Creek Chair. One of the folding
seats made of the same material as the pads. Besides providing a great seat
for camp, it extends the sleeping pad to full length.
