Perception used to make an actual "Sea Lion". I understand this was a longer fiberglass boat. I was also confused on this since my 2002 Perception Eclipse says "Sea Lion" on the front and a little "Eclipse" under it. My Eclipse is the 17' 2" boat that John mentioned.
