Hello folks, Well I've purchased my first GPS unit and I'm learning how to properly use it. I'm curious, where on a kayak do folks place their GPS units? For the sake of a "newbie" do you mind sharing your experiences with GPS? Will it work if it's stowed under the skirt? Do you keep it in a pelican water proof box (with clear lid)? Keep it in a clear plastic protection? Keep it stowed in PFD? etc.... Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise and knowledge...
