Someone has stolen Anna's waveski from under her house.
This is a very specialized and quite rare paddle board.
It is very lightweight and made rubber coated foam material.
Somebody grabbed it and threw it in the back of their truck, probably
yesterday.
Chances are it will appear on a regional Craigs list and advertised as a
'kayak'.

It is not a kayak, it is a Waveski and is the same as the one pictured.

Does anyone know of an online supplier of paddle-shaft joints ?

I'm aware of the issue of different shaft (inner) diameters and I've done
this before - but my local supplier has dried up.

Really looking for a 'tighten' joint (allows angle & length adjustment), but
might settle for a simple 6" inner (joiner) tube and an A-clip.

These things seem to go under a million trade names and all the ones I have
located tonight are part of a paddle line-up - and not for sale separately.

I thought finding an online supplier would be easy!

If you find one, let us know. Jazz Paddles down your way might be helpful.

CLC sells paddle joints (aka ferrules).

http://www.clcboats.com/shop/products/boat-gear/kayak-paddles/kayak-paddle-f
errule.html

I've also made one for a Greenland paddle out of brass tubing (either 1 1/4
or 1 1/2 depending on the diameter of paddle shaft from Lowes plumbing
department). I had to make mine since my loom was oval rather than round.

I'd really like to see a picture of that, Jim.

I think you are looking for a ferrule. I don't know of anybody selling
adjustable ones, but Chesapeake Light Craft will sell you the standard push
button type:

Let's hope it shows up before the surf returns.

Wish I could come out for your birding event. We started putting "socks" out
for the finches this year and they're all over them. Many golden finches.
Two bald eagles are building a nest in the radio tower across the lake. They
chose the 200-foot level platform next to the blinky lights. LOL. They
raised at least one chick there last season.

Hope you find the waveski and the body of the person who stole it.
