Also, along with the ACA, they sponsor a *huge* paddlesport event north of Houston each fall (Oct 6-8) this year. I *strongly* recommend that event. Great place for all kinds of clinics and chance to try out a multitude of boats as weall as a great opportunity to meet other paddlers. All the info should be on their website.
